Amanda Holden sports racy Musketeer costume for World Book Day

Amanda Holden sported a racy Musketeers costume on Thursday as she celebrated World Book Day at Heart Radio, sharing snaps of her daring look on social media.

The 51 year old looked incredible in the daring ensemble referencing the characters from book, The Three Musketeers, as she posed up a storm in the studio.

Amanda’s costume consisted of a navy blue velvet dress cut above the knee revealing her toned legs, with billowing sleeves, embroidered panels and white lace ruffles at the hem.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge wore a black cavalier hat with a red band trim to accessorise the look, as well as a pair of black over-the knee heeled boots, stepping up the risqué factor.

Amanda even added a swashbuckling sword to her outfit and was seen getting into character with it in one clip posted on Instagram as she waved the toy weapon back and forth.

The Heart Radio host was joined by co-presenters Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts, who also got in on the dressing up act as they posed as fellow Musketeers celebrating World Book Day.

“It’s #WorldBookDay and our 3 musketeers are ready to turn up the feel good! What have your little ones dressed up as today?”, the caption read beside a photo of the trio posted on the Heart Radio Instagram page.

Ashley was seen wearing an identical costume to Amanda, looking just as stunning as her co-host as she posed in her ensemble next to Jamie, who stood confidently beside the women in a matching navy blue velvet top, black boots and hat.

Amanda also shared a photo on Instagram Stories of her 12 year old daughter Hollie dressed in character for World Book Day as a pirate, performing an impressive high kick as she wore a white shirt, brown boots and trousers and a pirate hat with a red bandana.

Amanda's Musketeer look comes after she recently confirmed that her eldest daughter Lexi, 16, has signed to Kate Moss’ modelling agency in an exciting early career move.

“Lexi has just signed with Storm Management this week,” Amanda revealed to the MailOnline.

“They came after her and they're very lovely and nurturing and it will be a soft, slow thing and she won't do anything until she's 18 but they want her and that's what she wants to do.

“She has made the decision to sign with them and Chris and I support her, and we are very protective but they're very keen.”
