The social media personality, who has been dating rapper Moneybagg Yo on-and-off since January 2020, previously sparked fans among fans after tweeting that someone put his hands on her.
AceShowbiz –Ari Fletcher has set the record straight. After posting a tweet alluding to domestic violence, the social media personality made it clear that it was not her boyfriend Moneybagg Yo who hurt her.
Ari first sparked concerns among fans after she wrote in a Sunday, July 3 tweet, “Today was the last day I let a n***a put his hands on me.” She added, “Fight your demons, not me.”
Many have since assumed that Ari was referring to Moneybagg, considering that she was spotted at Bond Nightclub with him just shortly before making the post. It prompted her to offer a clarification.
“I’m talking about a drunk man in the casino, not Bagg. It’s a video and he pushed me on the ground,” Ari said. “I gotta be more careful how I tweet.”
Ari and Moneybagg have been dating on-and-off since January 2020. In December 2021, the influencer gushed over her romance with the emcee. When appearing on the “Don’t Call Me White Girl” podcast, she raved, “We don’t have like, a toxic thing where we like… We like to talk about everything.”
“Like, I’m mad, this is why I’m mad, and this is what needs to happen moving forward so this don’t make me mad no more,” she continued. “We’re like real adults – it’s weird. I’ve never been like this before.”
During the chat, Ari also admitted that she used to be a “toxic” girlfriend to her previous partners. Confessing that she used to want men to pull their gun out when she tried to leave, she explained, “Like, pull your gun out and show me like, ‘b***h leave. I wish you would walk out the door.’ “
“I’m going to just sit down because I got a son and I’m not trying to die – I got a son,” the mother of one further elaborated. “So I’m only staying because I got a son and I don’t want you to shoot me.”
