Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton fell in love in Big Brother back in 2006, before the days of social media.
Back then, the stars of reality shows weren't able to go on to have a successful career as an influencer, racking up a huge social media following.
And as the couple – who've been together now for 16 years – reveal their new baby son Atticus to OK!, they let us in on their thoughts about modern day reality shows.
Describing their own experience with reality TV as like a gap year from university, Grace, 36, says that reality shows are very different now.
She explained: "People go in with the plan they want to be an influencer. For us, it was the ultimate reality TV. I think it’s lost that shimmer now, as it’s not so much about the reality TV but what they’re going to promote afterwards.
"But that’s how things change and evolve. But it was good fun when we did it."
Agreeing with his wife, Mikey, 38 – who is now a property developer – said: "People used to ask us what we gained financially from it. And things have done well for us, but I always say I got a wife!"
Grace added: "It was all a bit more innocent then, there was no social media. It’s like when you look back fondly on university."
The star went on to explain she wouldn't do anything differently on the show, now she can look back with hindsight.
She explained: "No. My mature self would say I should never have thrown that water or swore as much, my language was horrendous.
“But everything happens for a reason, it was a fantastic experience for us.
“We would never have met each other – I’d never even been to Liverpool.”
The couple have gone from strength to strength since leaving the show back in 2006, and now share four children.
The pair, who are based in Liverpool, recently welcomed a little boy named Atticus and told OK! that their family is now complete.
Atticus Henry Dalton arrived on 3 January, weighing 9lb 6oz. He joins their older kids Georgiana, 10, Spencer, six, and Allegra, three.
Mikey explained: “We’ve also got the dog too, so I think we’re complete!”
