Brian McFadden has revealed that he recently suffered a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting which caused his face to swell up.
The former Westlife singer, 42, took to Instagram to share a string of snaps showing how his reaction had gotten worse throughout the day, before revealing that he'd had to go and see a doctor.
Dad-of-three Brian first shared a video of himself attempting to sing as his mouth had swelled up, and he jokingly told his fans: "Stung by a bee and got an allergic reaction!! Owning that look! Free Botox and fillers!!!!!"
His followers were quick to comment on the post, with one person simply saying: "Omg," as another added: "Only you could make a joke out of a bee sting".
In a second post, Brian shared a series of selfies, each showing his face at different points throughout the day to show how it gradually swelled up.
In the final snap, the 42 year old could be seen lying down with his top lip completely swollen and his left eye closed due to the swelling.
"The time line of the sting to reaction. Still goin," he captioned the post, with his celeb pals flocking to comment on the severity of his allergic reaction.
Denise Van Outen simply said: "Jeez," as former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan wrote: "Mate !!!!"

Brian's eldest daughter Molly, 20, who he shares with ex-wife Kerry Katona, 41, was quick to tease her dad, and jokingly commented: "What have I told you about getting lip fillers off of Amazon ???!!"
The star appeared to be seeking medical attention in a clip shared to social media and remained in good spirits as he updated his followers.
Brian's allergic reaction comes after he recently congratulated his daughter Molly on graduating from college and told his fans he was "so proud" of her.
"So proud of my beautiful daughter Molly graduating today at trinity college Dublin! Xx," the dad-of-three wrote on Instagram as she shared snaps of Molly and her classmates.
Brian is also dad to Lilly-Sue, 19, with ex-wife Kerry, and in May 2021 he welcomed his first child, a baby girl named Ruby, with his fiancée Danielle Parkinson.
He dated PE teacher Danielle for three years before popping the question to her in 2019. The pair had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic and are now reportedly planning to tie the knot at some point this year.
