Carol Vorderman, 59, has spoken out about how she misses her plane, Mildred, during the coronavirus pandemic. However, the Countdown legend warned the test pilots how they will be in “trouble” if they don’t look after it well enough during her “lockdown adventure”.
Speaking on BBC Radio Wales yesterday, Carol was asked about how much she misses her aeroplane Mildred, to which she replied: “I do miss Mildred. Well, she’s being looked after by some test pilots, she’s not stuck in a hanger or anything.
“She’s in a hanger at nighttime but she’s had a very special job during all of lockdown, they have been working together on this critical ventilator.”
The BBC host went on to reveal how her plane has been used to transport critical PPE to the NHS.
Carol continued: “So Mildred has been flown by the test pilot to carry bits around, the PPE, for the last month or so.

“So she’s been very busy. She’s had her lockdown adventure I suppose.”
The presenter added: “I’m sure she will be telling me a lot about that when I see her next.”
Soon afterwards, Carol’s co-host stated: “Mildred and Carol Vorderman are as busy as each other.
“A big applause for her as well, and I hope the test pilots are actually looking after her as well,” which led Carol to issue a warning to them.
The Maths Factor founder announced: “Oh they always do. They know they’ll be trouble if they don’t.”
Elsewhere, Carol previously jokingly offered to wear one of her “many wedding dresses” during one couple’s ceremony during the coronavirus outbreak.
It all came after the presenter was chatting to comedian Mark Watson on her radio show last weekend, when he explained the details around the special lockdown ceremony.
He told Carol: “The Twitch thing is very interactive so there’s a constant chat going on, which means you can do anything with it basically. So we’ve had a lot of contributions from people.

The BBC Wales favourite went on to say: “I’m sure I could fit into one of them somewhere along the line!”
