Caroline Flack 's close pal Mollie Grosberg has marked the day of her funeral by sharing a sweet video of the late Love Island star playing with her beloved dog.
In the clip, Caroline is filmed laughing and joking as she cuddled her pet pooch Ruby whilst on a train.
The friends were on the way to the countryside with Caroline's adorable puppy when they filmed the tender moment.
"Lucky us. Most loving human ever. Love you my baby girl Carrie," Mollie captioned the emotional post.
The dedication, and her first Instagram post since responding to the death of her friend, comes on the day that the Caroline is laid to rest.
Several celebrities then took to the comments section alongside the late star's fans to share their tributes.
Among them were Becky Vardy and Joanna Chimonides who simply posted several heart emojis.
TOWIE star Lauren Pope also left a message under the video, writing: "thinking of your today."
Caroline was given a private send off by friends and close family today.
No media were present at the ceremony and it is unclear which of Caroline's celebrity pals attended the funeral.
The former Love Island presenter was found dead on February 15 at her home in London. She was 40 years old.
A coroner has since ruled that her cause of death was by hanging, but a full inquest into her death will take place later this year in August.
At the time of her suicide, Caroline was facing a trial over her alleged assault against her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
Under the terms of her bail, Caroline was banned from contacting her boyfriend and the couple hadn't spoken since her arrest in December.
It is expected that Sam would attend the private funeral today.
Mollie's emotional dedication to her late friend came weeks after she vowed to take care of Caroline's pooch following her suicide.
In her social media story, the TV producer revealed that Ruby had been adjusting to her new home with Mollie and her partner.
"Having ruby is the only thing making us smile right now. Love you ruby," she wrote at the time.
Mollie is one of many people close to Caroline that took to social media to pay their respects on the day of her funeral. Among other tributes, were messages from Stacey Solomon and Amanda Holden .
Later in the day, Love Island star Maura Higgins also announced she would be postponing her swimwear launch in respect of Caroline's funeral.
