Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about the rumors behind her being the one to set up Sophie Turner with Joe Jonas.
During her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in New York City on Wednesday night (October 9), the 22-year-old Dickinson actress revealed that while she’d take credit for it, Sophie and Joe did all the work themselves.
“No,” she shared when asked if she was the one behind the relationship. “Are they saying that? I will totally take credit for that, if they are saying it.”
Hailee added, “I definitely got the, like, ‘Tell me about Joe Jonas’ call. Sophie and I have been friends for years. She’s one of my favorite humans. And Joe, same. Joe and I worked together a couple years ago, and he is also a wonderful person, and it worked! So, I’ll take credit for that, sure.”
