It appears The Bachelorette alum Jed Wyatt has found love once again.
Remember the suitor who won season 15 star Hannah Brown‘s heart and then crushed it on live TV when it was revealed he had a secret girlfriend back home? After he already proposed to her? Yep, that guy!
Months after their dramatic split, the Nashville-based country music artist has seemingly moved on with a new woman named Ellen Decker.
The 25-year-old has kept a relatively low profile since all of the breakup drama went down on the ABC dating reality TV series back in May. Despite his track record for romancing more ladies than he can handle, we’re honestly shocked to see him showing off this rumored new relationship so quickly.
Wyatt and Decker reportedly spent some time together down in Miami on Tuesday, and they both documented their baecation on their respective Instagram Stories.
Check out a shot of them cozying up together on a lunch date (below):
Ellen captioned the shot with, “Hot & sweaty in these but so happy,” while also tagging Wyatt.
In more since-expired social media posts, the pair continued their date by watching a sunset together, too. Sounds pretty romantic to us, but who exactly is this new woman, anyway?
According to Decker’s now-private IG profile, she’s a model who’s based in Miami. She also lists herself as a personal trainer, a teacher, and notes she’s signed to CGM Models and The Block Agency in her bio. Ellen also has over 35,000 followers, so, she’s clearly one to watch!
If you connect the dots, it appears Jed most likely ventured down to Florida to catch up with his new girl, although it’s still unclear how they met in the first place.
As we mentioned at the top, this is the first time the Bachelor Nation star has been linked to anyone since things ended with Brown.
Good for him, we guess?
Hannah, for her part, has been busy fighting for the top spot and Mirror Ball prize on Dancing With the Stars.
Although her stint on the show began on a high note with plenty of praise and high marks from the judges through weeks one and two, the starlet’s found herself on the receiving end of some harsh criticism after a few of her recent performances fell flat.
After fighting back tears over the judges’ critique on Monday’s episode, the former pageant beauty queen took to Instagram and candidly opened up about her time on DWTS. She wrote (below):
“This experience has been harder than I could have ever imagined. When I decided to do DWTS I thought it would be a fun way to channel all my energy after a whirlwind experience as the Bachelorette. I was hopeful that the confidence I gained this year to take pride in the woman I have become would have the opportunity to shine, and I’d feel that reboot in my spirit after it took a bit of a beating after my bachelorette season.
I came into this experience a little broken and confused—more than I’ve shared. Everyday has brought its challenges with my past, my fears, and the uncomfortableness of opening myself up again to be judged on something VERY scary like learning a new skill to perform each week. Last night was really defeating for me and a lot of suppressed emotions started to surface from this amazing, but grueling experience.”
The Alabama native continued:
“I want to be me. I want to be real. I feel my best when I feel like I have the opportunity to share my heart with others. But I know that’s been lacking in what has been seen on DWTS. It’s true there is a disconnect. I am busting my ass. I am giving this my all. It’s my focus and passion right now. But each week I fall flat. I’ve gotten to the point of being so anxious before I perform that I can’t completely enjoy it like I wish and know I could.
I KNOW I have a lot more I can give. I want to be able to feel free and confident to dance with my whole heart. I’m working on getting there.
I’m not throwing a pity party. I can take criticism and understand hard work…and I also know that my attitude has to change to rise above this slump I’m in. But this is real life. These are real emotions. It’s okay to be grateful and positive, while also acknowledging the hard days we all have. It’s so important to think positively, but it’s also important to acknowledge and feel all the feels. This pressure to pretend is not good for anyone. That’s how this crazy cycle of perfectionism continues to exist in a lot of us.
I’m blown away by the support I see and feel from all of you who love me through it all. So thank you— here’s to another opportunity to grow. See y’all next Monday!”
Aww, we’re rooting for you girl!
And for the record, so is her ex Tyler Cameron, who hopped in the comments to show her some love, writing:
“Fall down 7 times, get up 8! You got this HB. Be where your feet are and enjoy the ride. You’re doing amazing.”
As you know, Cameron famously moved on from Brown with model Gigi Hadid. The pair briefly dated over the summer, but eventually called it quits, too. Still, it’s clear he’s still got love for his old girl!
Perezcious readers, we want to hear from YOU! What do you guys think about Jed’s new romance? And, thoughts on Hannah’s recent DWTS woes?
