Paige Sandhu has shared that she has a secret boyfriend away from the spotlight, but won't reveal his identity as she wants to "protect" their relationship.
The 24 year old disclosed her relationship status ahead of her Emmerdale character Meena Jutla appearing in court after her murder spree this week.
In an interview with Fabulous magazine, Paige was asked: "You have a long term boyfriend – what can you tell us about him?"
The star coyly replied: "I have got a long term partner, but I'm not going to talk about him because I just want to protect our relationship. Sorry about that!"
Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall recently promised a "satisfying end" for murderer Meena on the hit ITV soap as the evil character takes the stand at a tense hearing in upcoming scenes.
Speaking on last Monday's This Morning, Sharon, 50, teased details about the Meena storyline, reassuring fans that they won't be "left screaming" at their screens.
Sharon said: "Very gripping, we've got the Manpreet [Sharma] versus Meena now. Meena said she wants Manpreet to come, I can promise you this is going to have a very satisfying end.
"You won't be left screaming, well, you might scream at the screen when all that is going on. When you see what she does…
"But it is going to be one of those that is a satisfying ending. I can tell you there's been some scenes filmed in a court… I'm allowed to say that. But is it quite what it seems?"

In upcoming scenes, tension in the village ramps up as the residents nervously await the outcome of Meena's plea hearing.
The deranged nurse's sister Manpreet Sharma is particularly worried – especially when she learns that Charles Anderson and Liam Cavanagh can't discuss Meena's confession on the stand.
Meena is disappointed by the modest turn-out for her hearing and does what she can to unsettle everyone.
To the court's surprise, Meena pleads guilty to the first of her many charges, but what game is she playing this time?
In the video, the judge declares: "Miss Meena Jutla, you are charged on an 18 count indictment as follows: 'Counts one to three, kidnapping and false imprisonment and attempted murder'."
The spoiler video ends with the court asking Meena: "How do you plead?"
