Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress Gemma Atkinson might be a huge Lionel Messi fan on the sly.
Having announced the arrival of her baby son last week, the 38 year old subsequently revealed to the world that his beautiful name was Thiago, but the name's Brazilian origin may surprise you.
According to The Bump, Thiago also has a Hebrew background, but in the Brazilian sense it means 'supplanter'.
"A dashing diminutive of Santiago, which hails from the Hebrew name Jacob, meaning 'holder of the heel,' the 'T'-sounding Thiago might be the perfect fit for parents preparing for their firstborn. While the name Thiago holds close ties to the Christian Bible, it's also a moniker that’s made headlines in the football world.
"Parents with a particular passion for Lionel Messi will take pride in Thiago, too, knowing they've named their mini-medalist after one of the members of the Messi-Roccuzzo family."
Yep, that's right, the World Cup-winning Argentinian genius, 36, gave the name Thiago to his eldest son (aged 10).
Along with little brothers Ciro and Mateo, and mum Antonella Roccuzzo, Thiago was present at his dad's debut Inter Miami match against Cruz Azul on Friday, following a move from French giants Paris St. Germain.
Substituted on in the second half, Lionel curled in a free-kick during the last moments of extra time to hand his new Major League Soccer team the victory.
Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham was brought to tears by the goal.
Originally announcing Thiago's birth via Instagram Stories, Gemma wrote: "Little man is here! He arrived safe and sound and he's utterly wonderful. [Her daughter] Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be.
"We're all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before [partner Gorka Marquez] has to leave for Strictly [Come Dancing] rehearsals next week. Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete."
This came shortly after Mia's fourth birthday party, which was celebrated amongst family earlier in the month.
Feeling emotional, her proud mum penned on social media: "We made it through the day! Wonderful evening with family around for Mia's birthday. Sounds daft but I'm so happy she got her day. I wanted it to be all about her seeing as it's her last as a single child.
"It may be the hormones but I was emotional thinking little man could arrive too. Whatever happens now, I'm okay with. July will be an expensive month for sure. But they will each have their own special day."
Meanwhile, back in January, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant was called out by a dog trainer after uploading a clip of her toddler sat closely next to black pooch Norman.
The trainer in question re-posted this video as a cautionary tale, but Gemma's fans were quick to alert her of this representation.
"Thanks for the msgs re the dog trainer using my video in a negative way," she responded. "I've reached out to her privately and it's been removed. I have the upmost respect for anyone who works with animals, but it was really disheartening to see my video was used as a 'bad example' and the comments 'so irresponsible'.
"I know my dogs, I know my child, and I know I'm a responsible owner and anyone who owns a pet should be."
