Harry Styles has finally debuted his new hairstyle in a photograph shared on Instagram, ahead of his fragrance launch on Thursday.
News broke that the former One Direction star, 29, had shaved his long locks off in favour of a buzzcut after he was spotted at U2's concert in Las Vegas with his girlfriend Taylor Russell, and his new look was then confirmed by his mum Anne Twist, who explained he simply wanted to switch up his usual haircut to a fan.
Harry has now shown off his much shorter do in a new photo, but fans have been left divided over his drastic change with some loving it while others aren't so sure.
The photo, shared to Vogue's Instagram account on Wednesday evening, shows Harry staring intensely at the camera while wearing a knitted jumper with a heart on the front. The photo was taken at the launch of his first fragrance collection with his brand Pleasing in London.
Fans shared their thoughts in the comments section, with one writing: "Beautiful," while a second added: "Honestly, I think he looks even better this way…"
A third fan wasn't so keen on Harry's new haircut, writing: "So I've been waiting for confirmation and now I wish I didn't have it," and a fourth said: "NOOOOO NOT THE BUZZ CUT."
"Not what I would have done, but he could still marry me I WOULDN'T SAY NO," a fifth fan joked.
The post comes ahead of his brand Pleasing launching its first fragrance collection on 16 November. Vogue explained the new collection on Instagram, explaining that each of the three scents set to be released are "sophisticated" but still true to Harry's signature style and brand.
"Harry Styles is officially entering the fragrance space. Tomorrow, the singer's brand, @pleasing, is releasing it’s debut collection of fragrances. But don’t expect a note of watermelon sugar here," the caption read.
"Formulated with Jérôme Epinette (the nose behind olfactive wonders like Byredo's Sundazed), each of three scents—named Bright, Hot; Closeness; and Rivulets—is sophisticated. Though in ways, they do still feel like they were plucked directly from Styles's music videos."
Each of the three fragrances can be purchased online but also in-store at Selfridges' The Corner Shop in its London flagship department store, where a Pleasing pop-up space recently launched.
Harry launched Pleasing in 2021 and the 'ethically crafted apparel' sells everything from cosmetics such as nail polish to stationery and clothing, and has worked with organisations such as Project Roots, GlamourGals, Covenant House and Queercircle.
