Hugh Jackman encourages suncream use after potential basal cell diagnosis
Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness are the latest couple to go their separate ways.
Following the shocking news of his split from his wife of 27 years Deborra-Lee, Hugh was spotted in public for the first time as he took his mind off of things while on a day out in New York.
The 54-year-old Marvel X-Men star was seen out and about in the Big Apple early in the day as he took care of some errands around town.
Notably, the Hollywood actor had already ditched his wedding ring as he was spotted with a bare finger on his left hand.
The sighting comes after his now estranged wife Deborra-Lee, who at 67 is his senior by 13 years, was also pictured elsewhere in New York without her wedding ring just days earlier.
Their marriage was said to have been affected by the COVID lockdown and the Hollywood strikes.

The former pair confirmed their separation in a statement obtained by PEOPLE on Friday 15.
“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” the statement went on to say.
“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives,” they added.

The former duo signed the statement as “Deb and Hugh Jackman,” adding: “This is the sole statement either of us will make.”
Hugh and Deborra-Lee share two children together: Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
The Logan star briefly spoke with paparazzi in the city on Saturday and admitted he and his soon-to-be ex-wife are struggling to come to terms with their separation.
As he walked along the sidewalk he revealed: “It’s a difficult time,” but declined to discuss their split any further.
