Jacqueline Jossa says that being reunited with her family feels better than winning I’m A Celebrity.
The actress was seen running to hug her two daughters in an emotional reunion on Monday, after she emerged from the jungle.
As she prepared to head back to the UK, she told the Mirror: “It’s absolutely amazing to be Queen of the Jungle, but to be back with my family is even better.”
The ex-EastEnders star, 27, also assured fans that she is “fine”, after allegations of cheating were made against her husband, Dan Obsorne, 28, which he strongly denies.
Dan, who shares daughters Ella, four, and Mia, one, with Jacqueline, earlier spoke of his joy at having his wife back. He wrote on Instagram : “What a day waking up with my wife. This morning feels goooood.”
Jacqueline and Dan put on a united front as they arrived at the airport to return to the UK, flanked by Dan’s mum, Toni, and Jacqueline’s parents, John and Selina.
When Jacqueline was in the jungle, contestant Myles Stephenson, 28, told her he believed his ex, Love Island star Gabby Allen , had got together with Dan. And model Chloe Ayling claims she had a three- some with Dan and US reality star Natalie Nunn , 31, in 2018. Dan denies the claims.
A TV source said: “Jacqueline has had a lot to take in since she came out of the jungle, more than most contestants. “But she says herself she is not a doormat and described the show as a turning point, so it will be great to see her being more confident and watching her career blossom in 2020.”
On Sunday night's episode of I'm A Celeb soap actress Jacqueline was utterly stunned to have been named 2019's champion and was speechless after being handed the crown.
Speaking to Ant and Dec afterwards, she said: "I can't believe I've done all that stuff."
In an emotional moment, she said that she felt the show had been a "turning point" in her life.
"I feel like I've gone in there was one person and come out as a different person," she said. "I feel like I've grown in confidence."
She also spoke about how it had helped her re-evaluate her life.
"I think it's so easy to care about what other people think," she said. "I try to change [trolls'] opinion… I had amazing people bigging me up constantly [in the jungle]."
After her name was announced as the winner, she gushed: "I love my family, I love Daniel, I love my kids."
