Jeremy Clarkson believes new series of The Crown wont be interesting at all

The Crown: Season 6 preview

Jeremy Clarkson has said he believes the new series of The Crown “won’t be interesting at all”.

The 63-year-old made the statement in his latest column for The Sun, but insists he will still be tuning into the drama series.

He wrote for the publication: “In the olden days, The Crown was historical and therefore quite interesting.

“But I suspect the new series will be just speculative tittle-tattle. And won’t be interesting at all.

“I’ll watch it, though, as I have a very strict policy,” the Clarkson’s Farm star expressed.

Jeremy went on to reveal that he is a fan of actress Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana on the series.

He continued: “If the 6ft 3in Elizabeth Debicki, pictured as Diana, is in something, I’m there.”

The second part of the sixth series will be made up of six episodes and will be out on Netflix in December.

The first part of season six aired in November, meaning the first four episodes are available to watch now on the streaming platform.

It was previously reported that Prince Harry is gearing up to watch the final season of the hit series, but not before his friends watch it first.

The Duke of Sussex is fully aware that some scenes, especially ones involving his late mother, will be difficult to watch.

The former royal is reportedly having a “sensitivity viewer” watch the scene with his last call to his mother Princess Diana.

This is to “save him” from traumatic content, according to an insider.

The final season will delve into the late Princess Diana’s final days, her tragic death and the aftermath that followed the tragic events.

An already released clip shows Prince William and Prince Harry missing a call from their mother the day before she died.

The series will also show scenes of the last conversation that they had with their late mother, as well as the moment they were told of her death.
