Reebok announced it has entered into a global partnership with Khalid, under which the singer-songwriter will appear in the fitness brand’s “Sport the Unexpected” campaign this spring.
Khalid shared the news on Instagram, saying, “I’m amped to partner with Reebok.”
“I love how they mix old and new and honor the classics with fresh twists. I hope we can inspire a new generation of people to be themselves and take creative chances,” he added.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Khalid and his dog Maui, wearing a specially-designed handmade Reebok doggy tracksuit.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stone reported that Khalid was announced as Reebok’s celebrity ambassador on Tuesday.
Matt Blonder, VP of Marketing and Digital Brand Commerce at Reebok, said Khalid continues to be a beacon of originality, pride and imagination for today’s rising youth.
“Through his unique sound and a personal journey that took him across the country, Khalid authentically symbolizes our common ethos – to inspire creativity and encourage experimentation,” he added.
