Lana Del Rey suffers on-stage blunder as shes left frazzled after losing her vape

Lana Del Rey looked heartbroken on stage after she lost her vape while performing.

The Summertime Sadness singer performed live for the first time since 2019 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at the 2023 MITA Festival.

Lana looked great as she wore a purple-patterned chiffon dress with her hair flowing behind her.

While she was singing the title track of her 2019 album, Norman F***ing Rockwell!, she realised that she'd lost her beloved electronic cigarette.

"And also if you see my vape on stage, can you find my vape on stage?" she asked the crowd.

A fan near the front of the audience said that they'd spotted it and the 37 year old ran forward saying: " "You did? Where, though? Oh, all the way in the pit?"

Unfortunately, Lana was not reunited with her vape, and carried on performing after telling the crowd: "F**k it."

Lana is set to return to the UK later this year at Glastonbury, alongside the likes of Sir Elton John, Guns 'N' Roses, and Arctic Monkeys.

The songstress has, however, has been vocal about the fact that there a not many female acts in this year's lineup of the iconic festival.

After an announcement revealed artists who would be taking to the Pyramid Stage on Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, Lana threatened to pull out of her performance slot.

She made a swipe at the festival by saying: "Well, I’m actually headlining the 2nd stage. But since there was no consideration for announcing that, we’ll see.”

A source told The Sun: “Lana is disappointed. She was proud to be doing a headline slot, but on the announcement graphic her name is buried among lesser-known artists”.

The festival's 2023 bill sees 52% of the 54 names set to perform identify as male.

Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis told The Guardian that it was a problem.

She said that they were “entirely focused on balancing our bill. It’s not just about gender, it’s about every aspect of diversity.

“It’s top of our agenda, and it probably makes it a bit harder because we’ve decided to make that important to us. To be honest, sometimes it’s easier to keep your head down.”

However, she did say that it "wasn't easy" to secure bigger acts and that she personally had to write to headliner Sir Elton to "urge" him to perform.

"People assume that because we’re the ‘Christmas of music’ we can breezily book whoever – but to get Elton doesn’t happen easily, so that’s a really big moment for us.”
