Summer was previously trolled for her awkward award acceptance speech at the 2019 Soul Train Awards after she was named as the winner of Best New Artist category.
AceShowbiz -Even though everyone in this world is against Summer Walker, London On Da Track will never be one of them. The record producer/songwriter/rapper took to his Instagram account to congratulate the “CPR” singer for her win at the 2019 Soul Train Awards on Sunday, November 17.
“Congratulations. The music speaks for u,” London wrote on Monday alongside a photo of Summer taking on the stage for her speech. “The anxiety makes u hard to read but to the ones that try to understand Would kno yo heart is an open book.”

Summer was previously trolled for her awkward award acceptance speech. Looking very nervous on the stage, Summer said, “Hi, um… Thank you so much I didn’t expect this.” She paused for a while before continuing to thank those who supported her throughout her journey, including her producer boyfriend London On Da Track, and quickly walked away.
Viewers quickly took to social media to ridicule her. “She won an award on the soul train awards, looking like a 5 year old talking bout ‘I didn’t expect this, thank y’all, thanks london the track’ & walked off.” Meanwhile, one other said, “Maybe I’m high but wtf was wrong with Summer Walker on the Soul Train Awards.” There was also one who dubbed her acceptance speech “the most awkward thing I’ve ever seen.”
Summer has yet to respond to the criticism, though some of her fans have already come to her defense. Summer has been open about her anxiety, which was also the reason why she cut short her tour.
