Former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp, 46, is said to have been left in shock after reports emerged that her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 47, is set to welcome a baby with his girlfriend Frida Andersson, who he started dating 18 months ago. The star has reportedly told friends that she only found out about Jamie and Frida’s baby news through family members, according to a source.
A source claimed: “Louise was knocked sideways by the news.
“Jamie didn’t tell her directly, she found out through family.”
They added to OK! Magazine: “She’s happy for them both and says life goes on but at the same time, she’s shocked by how quickly he’s moved on and that he’ll be a new dad again at nearly 50.
“A new baby is always a joy but she is concerned at how it will impact their family dynamic.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Louise for comment.
Louise and Jamie tied the knot in 1998 and share sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, together.
The couple announced their decision to split in 2017.
Louise is believed to be single and previously expressed her regret at ending her marriage to Jamie without “trying” to resolve the problems she was dealing with at the time.
She revealed to You! magazine: “I should have paused and thought about other people and had just a bit more time to work out why I felt I couldn’t do it anymore. I wish I’d tried.”
Meanwhile, model Frida has four children from her marriage to American businessman Jonathan Lourie, 58.
Frida appeared to confirm the happy news while responding to a fan on Instagram.
Shortly after reports emerged over the weekend, Frida took to the social media platform to share her gratitude after fans rushed to congratulate her and Jamie.

She also shared the same response to another one of her 4,249 followers, who wrote: “Congratulations on your new baby.”
Jamie and Frida have not yet publicly announced their pregnancy news on their social media pages.
A source told The Sun about the reported pregnancy, saying: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.
“They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
“The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing.
“But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
A representative of Jamie Redknapp’s has been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.
