The UK has had a very wet autumn already, and Lucy Verasamy, 39, has revealed even more rain is set to hit this week.
In her latest forecast for ITV, the meteorologist told viewers there will be a flood risk in many areas.
To begin with, she said: “Calm but chilly conditions in the next few nights, a set up for mist and fog bringing poor visibility in the next cople of mornings.”
“Rain in the north west and rain expected in the south into Thursday,” she continued.

“You guessed it, another batch of rain to end the working week, really quite extensive.
“This rain substantial and steady, a soaking into Friday across many locations.”
Warning fans about how heavy the rain will be, she added: “We could well see an exacerbated flood risk in many sensitive zones, particularly across the north and the west.”
Lucy explained it’s not all negative for everyone as she said there will be a “slice of sunshine” in parts of northern England.
She said: “Otherwise much in the way of cloud cover, dribs and drabs of rain in the south east but it remains mild and calm here.
“Further north, much more of a breeze, outbreaks of rain in Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland.”
Lucy added: “Into Thursday, the rain arrives in the south and east, brighter skies in the west, here a little more sunshine.”
At the weekend, the Good Morning Britain weather star swapped her usual forecast attire for a stunning monochrome polka dot dress to attend Ascot Racecourse.
The weather favourite highlighted her slender figure by teaming the frock with a thin black belt.
Matching the colour theme, Lucy accessorised with a black clutch bag, fascinator and heeled boots.
She uploaded a photo of her outfit to Instagram along with the caption: “A clear, crisp autumn morning before the crowds this Champions Day.
“Change of seasons in spotty late 70s @ysl dress via @modes_and_more_vintage • headband @jtmillinery @championsseries #championsday #ascot.”
Unsurprisingly, her dress garnered a lot of attention from her fans, with one writing: “This is gorgeous on you.”
“A treat for the eyes Lucy,” said another.
A third wrote: “Pretty dress, compliments your beauty well. Hope you had fun at the races.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
