Former TOWIE star Lydia Bright has taken to Instagram to proudly show off the results of her recent facial surgery, having gone under the knife to remove a lump beside her eye.
The reality TV favourite, 32, last night posted a candid selfie to her Instagram story, showing off the last remaining stitches and the small amount of bruising left following her operation.
Lydia captioned the photo: "One week post-op, I'm starting to get my cheekbones back. I can't apply skincare or wear makeup at the moment, it frees up time".
The blonde beauty added: "So this morning, I made a smoothie, took a few selfies, and I thought I am actually going to walk to the tube station today rather than jumping in an Uber…".
The mother-of-one, who shares three-year-old daughter Loretta with ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin, donned a natural curly hair look for the glowing snap, as well as a pair of dramatic shades worn on top of her golden locks, and a cosy knitted jumper.
Lydia confirmed she'd undergone surgery to remove her eye lump after a fan noticed stitches in a Mother's Day shot she posted to Instagram on Sunday, which saw her cuddling up to her own mother Debbie Bright and daughter Loretta.
The TV star had captioned the heart-warming snap: "Three generations. Happy Mother’s Day. I am so proud that you are mine and I am yours. You are unique, strong, warm, inspirational, ambitious."
Speaking of mum Debbie, Lydia continued: "The matriarch of our magical family and the solid foundation of my life. Love you forever."
But one eagle-eyed fan noticed something different about Lydia's face as she sported stitches and a puffed-up eye following her procedure, asking what had happened.
Lydia was quick to inform them: "I had to have an op to remove a lump. It looks worse than it feels x."
The day after posting her Mother's Day snap, Lydia shared a close-up to her Instagram stories of her eye, which was bruised and swollen, with a stitched scar clearly visible.
She shared some reassuring messages from some of her fans, including one that read: "Lydia, your op and your scar just makes you more of a relatable person for everyone that follows you.
"I hope it heals well and quickly but please don't not post yourself just because of that."
Beside the well wishes, Lydia wrote: "Good Morning & Happy Monday."
"Feeling recharged, rested and so positive after the weekend's trip and reading your messages. Thank you."
