Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly virtually hogged the limelight on Calvin Klein’s Instagram Live on Monday as they unveiled the brand’s new campaign.
Davidson began by posting a causual selfie to the brand’s feed with the caption, “I got Instagram.” The picture shows Davidson, clad in white Calvin Klein T-shirt, putting up a peace sign.
The post went viral, logging over 400,000 likes pretty quickly. MGK, giving a hint that he’d be involved in the campaign, wrote, “Are you gonna post us in our undies[?]”
A few hours later, the two took over Calvin Klein’s Instagram Live for an impromptu modeling session. More screenshots followed, with one shot featuring Davidson and Kelly sitting side by side on a couch with their pants around their ankles.
“I was gonna go for one of these. Be very casual about it,” Davidson says.
Another clip showed Kelly gleefully pouring a bowl of popcorn into Davidson’s mouth.
During the subsequent conversation, the duo discussed whether they were, ahem, “growers or show-ers.”
“Nice stuff, by the way. I get it now. Good for you. Good for you, dog,” Davidson complimented Kelly, who then joked, “I would’ve put an extra two socks in there and blew the world’s mind.”
Later, Davidson posted a follow-up snap to Calvin Klein’s Instagram of himself and Kelly staring questioningly into the camera.
“Did we nail it or did we nail it,” Davidson wrote, while MGK responded by asking, “should we remake zoolander[?]”
