Machine Gun Kelly fight at Orange County Fair was allegedly set off by a comment one fairgoer made about his fiancée Megan Fox’s beauty
The older brother of the man who attempted to punch Machine Gun Kelly at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California, on July 20 has broken his silence on the viral altercation.
In an interview with TMZ on Friday, Nelson Zuniga stated that the brawl started after Angel, his younger brother, made an indelicate comment about MGK’s fiancée, the actress Megan Fox.
Zuniga claimed that, ‘[Angel] told Megan when she passed by him, ‘Oh, you’re beautiful as f***!’
The altercation, which blew up on TikTok, resulted in Fox getting slammed against a fencing barricade.
The brawl took place after the 33-year-old rapper-turned-rocker and Fox, 37, were exiting from the UFO ride at the O.C. Fair, where the Zuniga brothers and their party were waiting in line.

Nelson told TMZ that someone in the crowd spotted someone famous on the U.F.O ride and everyone started pulling their phones out. The elder Zuniga brother assumed it was some famous YouTuber.
‘[Angel and I and the group we were with] were waiting [in line] for the UFO ride and everyone [just started recording]. [I] thought it was [some famous YouTuber], the famous guy,’ Nelson said while describing the led up to the altercation between his brother and the Grammy-nominated musician.
‘Then, when we saw [the famous person on the ride] come out, it was actually Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox!’ Nelson said.
Nelson noted that it was not until after his younger brother made the indelicate comment to Fox that things started to go sour as Machine Gun Kelly then proceeded to confront Angel and get up in his face.
‘[After Machine Gun Kelly confronted my brother over what he just said to Fox], then, he started to slap [Angel]. He did get a piece of him, but my brother moved a little bit, but he didn’t slap him,’ Nelson said.
The elder Zuniga brother claimed that Machine Gun Kelly’s security guard didn’t intervene in the confrontation until Nelson’s other younger brother attempted to defend Angel by punching Machine Gun Kelly.
However, the punch thrown by Nelson and Angel’s brother allegedly missed. Nelson himself then tried to get into the mix to break up the altercation, but he ‘pulled up too late.’
Once the Grammy-nominated musician’s security guard got involved and attempted to push Nelson’s younger brothers back, Fox got caught in the middle of the scuffle as the security accidentally ended up shoving her in the process.
In the interview, Nelson stated that he didn’t think his brother Angel’s comment crossed the line and said if Fox had been his romantic partner and someone made the same remarks that his brother made to her, he wouldn’t mind at all and would even offer the person a photo with her.

‘I don’t think it was over the line because [Megan Fox] was in Transformers and she’s in all types of movies. She is a beautiful woman,’ Nelson stated.
Nelson and Angel are still debating whether or not to file a police report against Machine Gun Kelly, as they are talking to lawyers. In the interview, Nelson noted that he and his brother don’t even listen to MGK’s music at all.
