Matt Baker: The One Show’s Angela Scanlon reacts as she’s asked if duo are ‘f*** buddies’

Matt Baker and Angela Scanlon may have great chemistry on The One Show, but Angela said the pair are definitely not “f*** buddies” when asked on comedy panel show Celebrity Juice. Host Keith asked if the pair were “f*** buddies” after previously teasing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield over the same claim.

Keith asked: “How’s The One Show going?”

Angela replied: “Good!”

Keith continued: “Are you f*** buddies like Holly and Phil?”

Angela responded with a firm “No” but Holly jokingly quipped that they “couldn’t help themselves” and that they were at it “at every ad break”.

The This Morning host laughed how they are “exhausted” from their trysts “behind the sofa”.

Holly then admitted that she would likely live to regret her jokey comments.

She said: “I’ll go with this and then I’ll instantly regret it.”

Television veteran Matt has been on The One Show since he first joined the show in 2006 as a reporter.

This is how Angela got her big break too, as she joined the show in 2016 and presents the show in host Alex Jones’ absence.

Matt, who also presents Countryfile, recently admitted his fondness for Prince Charles after buying some sheep from him.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Express he explained: “Prince Charles is fabulous.

“I really like him. He is like a farmer and that is why I like him. He has got a big farmer’s hand and you know he is so passionate about our British landscape and surroundings.

“I feel like I have a lot in common with him. I have got some sheep of his too. I bought some sheep from him when we were there working on Countryfile.

“It’s great he has all this passion and it is nice to talk to someone about things you are really into as well.”

The telly presenter has been providing extensive Strictly coverage on The One Show, and has shared several throwbacks to his own 2010 Strictly Come Dancing stint.

Last month he shared a throwback clip of himself dancing the Jive on Twitter and appeared to take a swipe at Anton Du Beke.

His caption for the clip included the hashtag “#allmyownteeth”, seemingly referencing when Craig Revel Harwood assumed Anton Du Beke had mock teeth when he danced in movies week in an Austin Powers costume.

Craig told Anton: “I was slightly distracted by the wig and the fake teeth you have in.”

To which Anton replied: “They’re not fake by the way, they’re all my own, dear.”

The visibly embarassed judge said: “They’re not fake? Oh, God. Really?”

The One Show continues on BBC One at 7pm.
