Michelle Money‘s ex announced on Monday that their daughter, Brielle, is eating and talking again following her serious skateboarding accident last month.
Sharing a photo of his 15-year-old in her post-ICU room, Ryan Money said that “48 hours ago we had not heard her talk…..and now this,” adding that she’s been FaceTiming relatives.
He also said that “we can confidently say that her personality has not changed,” as she “wants ‘coconut redbull,’ ‘Diet Coke’ and ‘Ben & Jerry’s ice cream’ pretty bad. “She currently has 3 favorite pastimes: giving the medical staff and myself a hard time, talking about what she wants to drink, or sleeping. As her father, I cannot tell you how happy this makes me,” he wrote.
Ryan revealed that Brielle finally had her first food since being hospitalized after her accident at the end of March, which was “some yogurt and some thickened Powerade.”
“We are definitely not out of the woods yet on all of this, but to hear her talk, make symmetrical expressions, eat, and move all of her extremities in physical therapy is HUGE and literally nothing short of a miracle,” he said.
Brielle’s father has been updating fans on her progress since Michelle, a former “Bachelor” contestant, said she would be taking a break from social media because she felt this ordeal was Brielle’s story to tell.
