Naughty Boy has not had the smoothest experience in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp so far, and his family has taken to shielding his mum from distressing scenes.
The DJ and music producer had already almost quit until he saw a sign that made him stay.
Naughty Boy, 36, lives and cares for his mum Zahida, who in 2019 was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
His niece Aisha has said that the family avoided showing his mother Zahida the clips of him getting emotional in case she found it too "distressing".

However, when things aren't too hairy or traumatic on the show, the whole family happily tune in to watch Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, on the ITV show.
Aisha spoke to The Sun and said: "During the day, she is always like ‘where is he?’, ‘is her coming home?’ and we have to keep reminding her that no, he is on the show and she will see him on TV.
Speaking about Tuesday night's episode, she continued: "We didn’t let her watch last night’s episode because we thought she would be really overwhelmed seeing him upset.
"Watching it, she will get confused, especially if she saw him doing the trial, she would have been very, very distressed. Most nights, she will cheer ‘that is my son’ and she will talk to the TV, bless her."
The campmates had to quarantine for two weeks before going into the tv show, and a few emotional moments have had Naughty Boy's family, and some fans worried.
Earlier this week the music producer openly said in the castle: "I can honestly say, the first night in The Clink, I woke up traumatised.
"But I had no one to blame but myself. I was even questioning, should I be here?"
A robin then landed next to him, and after speaking directly to the bird he said: "Yeah, I was thinking that robin came with a message and all that message is everything's going to be OK."
His family posted on the star's Instagram account saying: "Yesterday was a tough one to watch, but it’s a new day! Come on Naughty Boy, you got this. #TeamNaughty #ImACeleb."
One fan cheered him on virtually: "Everyone struggles mentally sometimes – it’s funny because it was Men’s Mental Health Awareness Day not too long ago and it’s disappointing that a generation that always reminds us to #BeKind and be more open about mental health struggles are the ones who are being really rude and insensitive to the matter. You’ve got this!!"
Aisha said that with some positive reassurance he will get back to his usual self: “Because we know him, we just know he needs someone to say to him ‘you are doing great, you are doing fine’ and he will be back to normal again. He was nervous but also quite excited.”
Other celebs who are putting their might and courage to the test include Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, Danny Miller, Dame Arlene Phillips, Louise Minchin, David Ginola, Kadeena Cox, Naughty Boy, Snoochie Shy and Matty Lee.
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues to air at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub every night.
