Nicola Peltz appeared to take a swipe at her husband Brooklyn Beckham’sparents, admitting he felt "pressured" into certain careers.
The actress, 27, made comments about those who advised Brooklyn, 23, on his career choices, saying that he did a lot of things he wasn't keen on in order to "people please".
Speaking to Tatler Magazine, Nicola was asked about her new husband’s career change from photography to cookery, where she revealed that he felt “pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.”
Speaking about his love of cooking, she told the publication: “You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven.
The eldest son of football legend David saw him start his array of career choices playing football. He played for Arsenal’s youth team, but was dropped by around his 16th birthday.
Following his football stint, Brooklyn enjoyed a taster of a career in modelling and photography, but recently launched ‘Cookin’ with Brooklyn’, a Facebook Watch show where he creates unique dishes for some of his famous pals.
His new wife Nicola said this is where his passion lies. She said: “Ever since the pandemic, all he’s wanted to talk about is being in the kitchen, so I just started filming him one day. I said, ‘This is what you love.’”
She also revealed Brooklyn speaks to her businessman father Nelson Pelt, asking him for career advice.
She said: “Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet.
“I watch him call my dad and say, ‘What do you think about this?’ I love watching him learn from my dad.”

The couple tied the knot earlier this yearat an extravagant wedding in Miami on Saturday 9 April, with the ceremony held at Nicola’s parents’ £76 million mansion.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s luxurious ceremony is rumoured to have cost around £3millionand boasted a star-studded guest list of 300, including chef Gordon Ramsay, tennis star Serena Williams and actress Eva Longoria.
The young love birds reportedly spent an impressive six seconds embraced in a passionate kiss after being told they were officially husband and wife, much to the delight of their star-studded guest list.
