Charlize Theron went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday to promote her upcoming new movie, Bombshell… and instead walked away with a potential mate in Michael B. Jordan!
Excuse us, LOLz, but WTF?!
The South African-born actress appeared on the daytime TV talk show with her co-stars, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie — and after the ladies got through talking about the Jay Roach-directed film, they indulged Ellen with a fun a game of “Who Would Charlize Rather” that’ll leave you in stitches!
We all know the 61-year-old host loves to tease guests for her own amusement and this time was no different!
DeGeneres put the “shockingly single” Charlize in the hot seat as the rest of ’em discussed potential celebrity matches for her.
First, the group had to decide whether rap superstar Drake or R&B crooner The Weeknd was a better match for Theron. While everyone agreed the Canadian-born artist might be more her type, Charlize quickly thwarted the idea she was looking for a younger guy when she said:
“But am I the Drake’s type? I might be a little too old for him.”
The process of elimination continued as Lenny Kravitz emerged as another option for the 44-year-old eligible bachelorette. But as it turns out, the rockstar was previously linked to her gal pal Kidman — who was visibly embarrassed by the memory of it and the possibility of this pairing. Nicole said:
“This is awkward, move on. This is so….I love Lenny, I so recommend him.”
How about single, savvy, and attractive political commentator, Trevor Noah? The Oscar winner quipped:
“No he’s my brother, this is going to get awkward. Yeah he literally is my brother.”
It wasn’t long before Brad Pitt‘s name was brought into the conversation…
The pair made headlines back in January after The Sun claimed Pitt and Theron were “all over each other” at a showbiz function at the Chateau Marmont in El Lay, which later reportedly blossomed into a full-fledged romance. Those reports were later shot down by insiders who spoke to People, and again by the starlet herself!
When Keith Urban‘s wife joked, “I did not date Brad,” Charlize wittily responded, “I apparently did.”
Pitt, for his part, is reportedly keeping his options open these days. So, you never know! It could “happen” again!
Eventually, the Creed star bested Harry Styles, Milo Ventimiglia, and more to become the last man standing on their fictitious journey to find Charlize’s next lover!
