Metal icon Ozzy Osbourne recently released a short video revealing that he has been forced to postpone his 2020 European tour dates due to health issues.
“I’m not dying, I am recovering, but it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would,” Ozzy says in the clip, sharing that the problems were caused by a “bad fall” that he took at the beginning of the year, which “screwed up” his neck vertebrae, and for which the 70-year-old star subsequently underwent surgery.
The former Black Sabbath frontman, whose most recent solo album was released back in 2010, also announced that a new album is “on the way.”
Although the European dates in January and February are canceled, Osbourne expects to have recovered by May to perform the North American dates.
