Robbie Williams flaunts slimmed-down physique in shirtless video

Robbie Williams shows off fitness transformation

Robbie Williams, 49, was seen larking around in the sunshine on Easter bank holiday weekend with his four children: Theodora, 10, Charlton, eight, Coco, four, and Beau, four.

The former Take That star looked incredible in the shirtless video, as his wife Ayda couldn’t help but gush over her “crush”.

She captioned the video in view of her 736,000 Instagram followers: “He’s got Robbie Williams’ eyes #zaddy #stillgotit #nofilterneeded #crush AWxx @robbiewilliams.”

Robbie was shirtless in the video and was seen playing with his son as she showed off his inked-up torso.

He sported a large pair of shades, a pink cap and low-slung Louis Vuitton shorts.

Robbie’s slimmed-down appearance comes after the singer admitted he was finally happy with his body following his recent weight loss, back in September.

The singer, who has openly spoken in the past about his addiction battles to both food and drugs, admitted he has finally learned to accept himself.

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Robbie said: “I have lost weight but it is a constant fight. Inside me, there’s a giant person…

“Thank God for vanity, and thank God for my job, because if I didn’t do what I do for a living I dread to think what I would look like and what I would become.”

Speaking on his “old” self, Robbie explained: “I hated myself and I thought I couldn’t sing and looked like s**t.

“If anyone thought I was wandering around with an inflated sense of self-importance it is actually the opposite.”

The singer found himself on a slippery slope when he left Take That in 1995 and adjusted to his new life.

Speaking on his At Home with Williamses podcast, the Angels hitmaker admitted that his drug use and bad diet contributed to his weight gain.

He said: “I rented a flat. I went to the supermarket in my first shop. Once. Stoned. Don’t go to a supermarket stoned. You make bad choices.

“I opened the fridge and there was this whole Mr Kipling cake. And I can remember this moment going, ‘Hang on, I don’t live with my mum. I can eat all that cake’.

“That was January. By February I was morbidly obese. I looked like a farm animal as it was quoted in the press in 1996, ‘Mr Kipling is a b*****d’.”

The singer has been an ambassador for Weight Watchers since 2018 after he began to prioritise his health.

Robbie previously went into rehab in 2007 after taking speed, acid, heroin, cocaine and “heart-stopping” amounts of prescription drugs.

He admitted he was once just “24 hours away from death” at the height of his addiction, which saw him taking a dangerous cocktail of drugs.

Robbie said in 2009: “I would do 20 Vicodin in a night. I might have been 24 hours away from dying. “Then I’d take Adderall, which was like speed for people with ADHD. I’d be doing colossal, heart-stopping amounts of that.”
