After years of playing one of America’s favorite TV moms, “This Is Us”‘s Rebecca Pearson, Mandy Moore welcomed her first child in real life with her husband, Dawes frontman, Taylor Goldsmith in February 2021. Over a year later, the couple — who tied the knot on Nov. 18, 2018 — welcomed their second child into the world.

Of starting a family, Moore previously told Romper, “We did ovulation tests, all that stuff,” adding that she finally saw a fertility specialist who discovered there was an issue with Moore’s uterus, and that she might have endometriosis. “I was fully prepared to go have surgery and fix my uterus and hopefully get rid of the endometriosis, if it was there. It was nice to have a plan and to know, ‘OK, well, this is why I haven’t been pregnant yet.’ ” Then, right before she was set to have surgery, she happened to get pregnant!
