EMILY PRESCOTT: Model Suki Waterhouse sashays from the catwalk… to Benidorm for pre-Christmas detox at wellness centre which offers hydrocolon therapy and cranio-cervical massages
For most, the party season is in full swing, but model and singer Suki Waterhouse is trading wild nights for wellness.
She has embarked on a pre-Christmas detox – perhaps to prepare for the celebrations ahead.
Suki, 30, who wowed in an Alexandre Vauthier dress at the Fashion Awards in London last week joined her author friend and business partner, Poppy Jamie, at a clinic called Sha Wellness near Benidorm.
The centre offers treatments including hydrocolon therapy, which involves flushing out waste from the body, and cranio-cervical water massages, which claim to release tension and energy blockages.

Poppy Delevingne (pictured), also seen at the Fashion Awards has jetted off to Clinique la Prairie wellness centre in Switzerland
Thankfully Poppy has thus far refrained from sharing pictures of the pair getting these treatments with her social-media followers, but she did post a snap of herself ‘layered with seaweed, in a heated bubble sink tank’ last week.
‘Happy as a clam,’ she wrote. ‘One step closer to rebalancing cortisol and hormones.’
She also showed off a colourful breakfast of green juice and rice porridge.
Meanwhile, fellow model Poppy Delevingne, also seen at the Fashion Awards has jetted off to Clinique la Prairie wellness centre in Switzerland, where a five-day stay costs £9,000.
Arch-Brexiteer Tory MP Mark Francois (pictured) is in the midst of writing a screenplay based on his book Spartan Victory
The drama of Brexit shows no sign of abating. Author Hannah Rothschild, of the famous banking family, is awaiting publication of her Brexit novel High Time in the new year.
And arch-Brexiteer Tory MP Mark Francois reveals he is in the midst of writing a screenplay based on his book Spartan Victory.
Although he won’t be drawn on whether film-makers are planning a big-screen version, he says modestly his work has been described as ‘Darkest Hour meets House Of Cards.’
Has Gareth Southgate and his penchant for waistcoats inspired his daughter Mia’s love of fashion?
I only ask because the 24-year-old who works as creative administrator for the agency that represents him, is sharing her daily outfits on social media and sells clothes on the second-hand marketplace Depop.
Watch out, Gareth… one of those waistcoats could be up for grabs next.
