Ree Drummond’s cheeseburger sliders
Drummond starts making her cheeseburger sliders by sautéing onions in vegetable oil. She then adds ground beef. Instead of forming the meat into individual patties, she cooks all the ground beef together and crumbles it as she goes. Drummond cooks the beef for about 4 minutes until it’s completely brown.
Next, she adds Worcestershire sauce and pepper. She says she wants the ground beef to be flavorful. Drummond says home cooks can add their own ingredients to spruce up the flavor. Some suggestions she gives are hot sauce or barbecue sauce.
After cooking the ground meat, Drummond makes a sauce for the sliders. She makes a mixture of mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard for the sauce. She says home cooks can add hot sauce or barbecue sauce to the mixture.
The Pioneer Woman cooks the buns in the oven at 375 degrees. She keeps the sliders in the oven until the cheese melts. Ree Drummond’s tomato pie
Drummond starts by making the pie filling. She mixes mayonnaise, one egg, and one egg yolk in a bowl. Then she adds salt and pepper and stirs the mixture. Next, Drummond adds a hot sauce along with sharp cheddar and blue cheese. She then adds parsley, dill, and scallions.
Drummond uses heirloom tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, and grape tomatoes for this recipe. She places the slices on paper towel and salts both sides of them and allows them to sit so that the excess liquid from the tomatoes will drain. Ree Drummond’s rigatoni with broccolini and sausage recipe
Drummond starts by boiling rigatoni in a pot. Once the rigatoni starts boiling, she takes Italian sausage, tears it into chunks, and cooks it in a pan. Once the sausage is halfway cooked, she adds thinly sliced onion and about three to four garlic cloves.
Next, Drummond adds tomato paste to the pan, and stirs it around. As she stirs the sauce, she lets it fry on the bottom of the pan. Then she adds crushed red pepper flakes and ½ cup of water.
Drummond places the broccolini in the pot with the pasta. She pours the broccolini and pasta into the pan containing the sauce. She then sprinkles parmesan cheese on top of the pasta and sauce before stirring the ingredients. Once the ingredients are mixed, Drummond adds more parmesan cheese and parsley.
