In celebrating 123 years of AC Milan, About Vintage has crafted a limited edition collection starring three variations of the 1899 Rossonero Automatic timepiece. Arriving in colorways inspired by AC Milan’s three highlighted jerseys of the season, the timepiece offers black, white, and green dials all in a limited run of 123 pieces per style.
On the design front, the watches have incorporated details that reference the jerseys they’re based on. A red overtime counter has been implemented on the chapter ring, while the AC Milan devil graces the crown, appearing also as a logo on the caseback. As for movement, the watches are powered by the premium, precise yet durable Moyota caliber 9039. Coming in a 10 ATM waterproof, surgical-grade 38mm wide stainless steel case, the watch can withstand certain water-related sports such as swimming, but is not suitable for diving.
Retailing for $799 USD, the special edition 1899 Rossonero Automatic watches are currently open for sign-up, and will be officially launched on December 15. In tandem with the launch, three lucky winners who purchase the special edition watch from About Vintage’s official website, they will be automatically entered in the lucky draw for a chance to win a signed jersey.
