Adele is reportedly now dating Skepta, after splitting from her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
The Hello singer, 31, is said to have formed a ‘special connection’ with the rapper, who hails from Tottenham just like she does, and friends of both stars are hoping for a fully fledged romance.
Sources told The Sun that Adele and Skepta have been on a string of dates and are now ‘spending more and more time together’.
‘They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection,’ insiders say.
‘Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day.’
Skepdele? Adepta? Ok, so it might not have quite the ring to it, but we’re all for the two getting together.
Metro.co.uk have reached out to reps for both Adele and Skepta.
News they’re allegedly dating comes after Adele recently finalised her divorce from ex-husband Simon.
The former couple announced their split five months ago, with reports later claiming Adele is ‘feeling free and moving on with her life’ after filing for divorce.
She and Simon are now sharing joint custody of their six-year-old son Angelo, following the end of their three-year marriage.
Adele and Simon began dating in 2011 and welcomed Angelo a year later in 2012.
They tied the knot in secret in 2016, with Adele publicly addressing the wedding for the first time during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys.
Speaking after their separation was confirmed, a spokesperson for Adele said the exes were dedicated on ‘raising Angelo lovingly’.
Since her break up, it seems Adele has been focusing on new music and there were recently rumours doing the rounds that she may be teaming up with Beyonce on a new track.
OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder claimed he got both Adele and Queen Bey on board to record a fresh song for his band’s next album.
Ryan – who has co-written tracks for both Adele and Beyoncé – said that the two global superstars and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin feature on the collaboration, but turns out it was all a massive joke.
Not cool Ryan, not cool.
