Don’t worry, we can’t keep up with her dating drama either!
Taylor Swift and Matty Healy shocked fans as rumours swirled the pair of old friends were in fact new lovers.
The Anti Hero hitmaker, 33, and The 1975 front man, 34, set social media alight with whispers they’re more than friends and after doing some sleuthing, we maybe should have seen it coming.
Supposedly ‘madly in love’ with Matty, Taylor recently split from her actor boyfriend Joe Alwyn, 32, who she dated for six years and co-wrote many tracks with under his pseudonym.
The musicians met way back in 2014 when the pop princess took Selena Gomez to The 1975’s concert and they quickly bonded over their love of music.
Years later they’re slap bang in the middle of the romance rumour mill but it looks as if they’ve been busy planting easter eggs the entire time – right under our unsuspecting noses.

Been there, got the T-shirt
After meeting at his concert, the Lavender Haze artist was seen sporting Matty’s band’s merch tucked into a paid mini-skirt while out and about.
The Chocolate singer returned the favour and played a show in Taylor’s 1989 album cover t-shirt.
Following t-shirt gate, romance rumours were rife however the leading man denied he was in a relationship with the American but did confirm they had swapped numbers.
He addressed the potential relationship on Australian radio at the time and said: ‘Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do and we spoke occasionally.
‘There’s no like, relationship or anything happening. It’s just funny how people really, really buy into that.’
Matty also touched on his friend’s fame and admitted his fears about being tied to the global superstar.
‘if I had gone out with Taylor Swift I would’ve been like, “F**king hell! I am NOT being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.” You know, ‘F**K. THAT.
‘That’s also a man thing, a de-masculinating, emasculating thing.’

She’s beautiful, it’s true
Despite no obvious signs of a Taylor / Matty collaboration, the British indie-rocker chatted about the singer in 2016 – and well, gushing would be an understatement.
Speaking with Elle, he showed praise over the singer: ‘Now if you want to talk about Taylor Swift, that is easy…. Since she came to my show in December of 2014, I would say that 90 perfect of journalists that have interviewed me have asked about either her as a person or what our “interaction” was like.
‘I have said on countless occasions that I found her to be one of the most gracious, hard working, creatively gifted, and beautiful women that I have had the pleasure to meet.
‘I personally have a lot of respect and admiration for her. Why would I not?’

Meeting the family of a new partner is always a daunting task but for charming Taylor she wouldn’t have to worry as Matty’s mum Denise Welch is already a big fan.
The hitmaker and the Loose Women panellist have posed for pictures in the past with Denise uploading a cosy snap of the pair to her Instagram in January.
Grinning from ear to ear, the picture of the ladies was taken backstage at The 1975 gig in London’s O2 after Taylor made a surprise appearance midway through the band’s setlist.
Wrapping arms around each other, the 64 year old captioned the post: ‘Oh what a night at a sold out 02. So proud I can’t even begin!! [sic]’
During that show, he notably toned down his usually raunchy behaviour and refused to lock lips with fans as he declared to the disappointed crowd: ‘I’m not kissing anybody in front of Taylor Swift, have some respect.
‘In front of the Queen, it’s not happening.’
Midnights x The 1975
The front man revealed in the past that his band worked with the songstress when she was putting together tracks for her hugely popular album Midnights – however their song didn’t make the cut.
He explained to the KROQ’s Klein/Ally Show: ‘We actually worked a bit on that but then the version of it never came out.’
Following boos from the audience he set the record straight: ‘That’s not how it works. It was for reasons that are not to be criticised. She’s amazing.’
Speaking of collabs, as mentioned Taylor shocked the band’s London audience when she premiered her Anti Hero chart topper for the first time live during their show.
Clearing up the Question…? marks
No comments have been made by either side’s reps for now but an insider spilled all they knew to The Sun.
They suggested: ‘She and Matty are madly in love.
‘It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.
‘As two international megastars, they understand the pressures of one another’s jobs better than anyone and are incredibly supportive of their respective careers.
‘They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away.
‘Taylor just wants to live her life and be happy. She’s told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour.’
