Demna continues to create ample buzz with his desgins at Balenciaga. The designer’s vision for his Winter 2022 “360° Collection” continues to be a topic of conversation, with its sequential releases for the season. Just a couple of weeks after the HD Lace-Up Sneaker in black has dropped, Balenciaga has now dropped the same sneaker but in “Fluo Pink.”
For those who remember the runway presentation set in a blizzard, many saw models walking in these sneakers. The shoe is made entire from rubber, taking similar design notes from the design house’s “Mold Closed Slide.” However, in comparison to the clog-style shoe, this one in particular features laces and appear to have a chunkier and more heavy-duty aesthetic.
The sneaker is multifunctional as both a fashion statement piece and one for tackling harsher terrains. With its light make and tactile features, the shoe also features grooves and ridgs on the outsole, for additional support. The shoe also offers pletny of ventialtion points with its holes in the upper for the sporty aesthetic. Balenciaga branding is seen on the heel cup and the curved toe. The shoe was originally only available in black and tan but has now relased in a bright, eye-catching “Fluo Pink.”
Balenciaga’s new HD Lace-Up Sneaker retails for $785 USD and is currently available for pre-order online.
In case you missed it, burgundy accents have hit the Swoosh for the grey/white Nike Dunk Low.
