Pharrell Williams’ BBC ICECREAM has teamed up with Crenshaw Skate Club for a new capsule that channels the free-spirited aesthetic of skateboarding.
The new collaboration was designed in part by Crenshaw Skate Club founder, Tobias McIntosh, and furthers his goal of supporting skateboard communities of color in Los Angeles. By fusing the two brands’ skate-inspired foundations, the four-piece capsule is filled with an array of color.
Appearing in the capsule is a hoodie, t-shirt, trucker hat and skate deck that features a multicolored co-branded graphic design inspired by the brands’ logos. Specifically, the graphic shows a skateboarder grinding over the BBC ICECREAM logo. The skate deck serves as a collection highlight with the co-branded graphic atop a gradient sunset-colored background with an allover BBC ICECREAM logo.
To bring in the new capsule, the two brands are set to host a Los Angeles skate park tour to provide free t-shirts and stickers. Taking place on Saturday, October 15, the tour is set to visit Charmette Bonpua Skate Plaza, Jackie Tatum Skate Park and Westchester Skate Plaza.
Check out the gallery above for a look at the collaboration. Ranging in price from $40 USD to $130 USD, the BBC ICECREAM x Crenshaw Skate Club capsule releases on Saturday, October 15 on the BBC ICECREAM website.
