Born X Raised Co-Founder Alex "2Tone" Erdmann Shares Plans for the Brand's Future

Since Born X Raised co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup’s tragic death in a car crash this June, the future plans for the brand he co-founded with Alex “2Tone” Erdmann were uncertain to the general public — until now. 2Tone recently took to the Born X Raised Instagram to announce that the brand would resume its operations, stating that “Spanto leaves behind an actual family and his BXR family, and they all need to eat.”

In the post, 2Tone stated that the brand’s first drop since Spanto’s death would be a homage to Spanto himself, designed by an “integral member of the brand’s family,” and that it would be “dropping this week.” Though what, exactly this item (or items) may be has yet to be officially announced, Born X Raised’s next post showed one of Spanto’s daughters wearing a special Born X Raised T-shirt with a “Spanto Lives” text hit that appears to have been created by Mr. Cartoon.

Besides this drop, 2Tone noted that Born X Raised has “some of the biggest drops in the history of the brand, already made, waiting in the warehouse,” and that although he “never wanted to do this part of the business” (referring to being in the public eye), he would continue pushing the brand forward in his fallen friend’s memory.

See 2Tone’s full, heartfelt tribute to Spanto as well as the aforementioned T-shirt in the Instagram posts below, and stay tuned for updates on Born X Raised’s forthcoming slate of releases.
