BTS member Jungkook is set to release his second solo single later this week. In a set of announcements on YouTube, the singer has given fans a teaser of what to expect from his upcoming single “3D” featuring Jack Harlow. On September 23, the K-pop singer performed as as headliner at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York where he shared the mysterious teaser video.
According to the agency Big Hit Music, Jungkook’s upcoming song is a “pop R&B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second and third dimensions.” They added that the track shows a “more more mature side of Jungkook.” So far, three short 30 second clips have teased the new single. Two “Hero” films see Jungkook posing in a futuristic looking set, while the other, which has been posted on X by the agency gives fans a listen at some of the lyrics and the beat. Harlow also appears in the teaser.
“3D” comes shortly after Jungkook released his hit “Seven” with Latto in July. He has recently appeared on his bandmate Suga’s talk show, sharing that he hopes to release a “mini-album” by November of this year. “3D” arrives on September 29 at 1 p.m. KST.
