Bulova Broadens Its Frank Sinatra Collection With a Rat Pack-Inspired Timepiece

Continuing its partnership with the Frank Sinatra enterprise, Bulova has unveiled a new limited-edition Rat Pack-inspired time-teller.

For this limited-edition timepiece, Bulova opted for a sleek and sophisticated design that boasts both contemporary, retro, and black-tie aesthetic codes. The most iconic iteration of the Rat Pack consisted of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop, where the crew often hung out, and performed together.

Presented in a 40mm round, stainless steel case, the piece is complemented with sleek black alligator straps. Encircling the outer dial is a sunray-brushed ring doused in a high-shine golden hue. While the rest of the dial is covered in black etchings that nod to the look and feel of a vinyl record. Sections of the outer dial are lightly engraved to assume the role of hour-markers, which has been omitted from the design to upkeep a sleek and minimalistic look. Completing the lightly embellished dial are a silver-hued handset, branding, and a 3 o’clock date display.

The Rat Pack logo, alongside signatures of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin are engraved on the piece’s sapphire crystal caseback. Beating at its core is the 8215 Miyota self-winding automatic caliber, equipped with 30 meters of water resistance, and a 42-hour power reserve.

Limited to 5,000 pieces, the Rat Pack timepiece retails for $795 USD and is currently available for purchase via Bulova’s official website.
