Launched in August 2021 by former adidas Brand President Eric Liedtke, sustainable streetwear label UNLESS has announced its latest collection – and campaign – for Spring/Summer 2022.
Liedtke’s burgeoning brand continues to make good on its promise of delivering “zero plastic” and “zero waste” wardrobe staples. For SS22, it’s offering up plush T-shirts and hoodies with front-pocket and elbow detailing and button-up workwear-inspired overshirts.
The new campaign features a mix of male and female models photographed in a lively and rustic setting, wearing color palettes of olive green, beige, orange, black, and beige. Additionally, its latest hoodie is 100% plant-derived and completely biodegradable – with consumer-retired hoodies being returned to the earth for composting.
Noting the importance of sustainability, part of the brand’s online mission statement reads:
“Every drop is created from the elements, for the elements, and designed to harmlessly return to the elements.”
“UNLESS is for everyone who feels strongly that what they wear says a lot about who they are and who doesn’t want to compromise their style to do what’s right for the planet. We leave nothing and no one behind,“ it adds.
The new UNLESS SS22 collection will be available on March 29 via the brand’s website.
In case you missed it, Dior and Parley for the Oceans unveiled a new season of its “Beachwear Capsule” line.
