Footwear specialists Clarks Originals is no stranger to experimentation. The British shoe brand has recently collaborated with the likes of former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher on a new iteration of the Rambler, and they have also worked with Vandy the Pink for a new skeleton Wallabee design. And while the high-profile link-ups and vibrant designs are fun and games, Clarks isn’t afraid of taking things back to basics, or at least, making slight adjustments to its mainline silhouettes. With this in mind, Clarks has just presented a new version of its Wallabee in the form of the Cup Lo. Last year, Clarks presented the Wallabee Cup that came with the classic Wallabee features, but with a heavy-set sole with webbed detailing.
However, this Lo version of the silhouette welcomes slip-on access to merge comfortability with a contemporary edge. The shoe is crafted with a soft shearling footbed, while added flexibility to the design has also been intergated with a newly-introduced moccasin construction. Coming with a soft maple suede upper, the warmlined footbed also comes with a rubber crepe sole and is finished off with two customary Clarks Originals fobs.
You can take a closer look at the Wallabee Cup Lo Maple Suede Warmlined above and is available now on the official Clarks website for £120 (approx. $140 USD).In other footwear news, take a look at the new Liam Gallagher x Clarks collaboration.
