Rappers, beat makers, photographers, videographers and designers — there’s nearly nothing that Tokyo-based collective CreativeDrugStore can’t do. Made up of members of rap group OTOGIBANASHI’S (often shortened to OTG) BIM, doooo, VaVa, in-d , JUBEE, heiyuu, and PalBedStock, the multifaceted group has added another notable collaborator to its list of brands including Reebok, Black Eye Patch and Youth Quake. Ahead of the group’s annual “CREATIVE ROOM” event – which is celebrating its 12th installment at Osaka’s Henry’s PIZZA – CreativeDrugStore tapped Japanese artist and graphic designer Verdy for his aesthetic assistance on the pop-up’s merch line.
The Verdy-fied array of merchandise sees oversized logos and heavy branding, complemented by cartoonish hearts. Hoodie concepts appear in army green, light blue and black colorways, with “I can’t waste my time anymore” printed below the large cursive logo. T-shirts, available in white and cream, mirror the same design as the hoodies; one special edition t-shirt commemorates the pop-up event with a graphic sketch of the Henry’s PIZZA storefront, complete with a CreativeDrugStore billboard. Knit sweaters come in gray and black and feature the same oversized cursive branding on the front. Each sweater includes a subtle black or blue heart on the back, respectively.
The collection’s accessories see similar designs. An analog clock is decked out with CDS’s cursive branding, with cartoon red and blue hearts marking the hands. “I can’t waste my time anymore” is appropriately imprinted underneath. While CDS branding dominates the drop, VERDY imprints his logo on one side of the navy blue key chain.

The general admission pop-up event will occur at Henry’s PIZZA on Monday, July 17. Merchandise will be sold the weekend prior, July 15 and 16, and attendance is based on a lottery system.
