At HYKE’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, the Japanese label previewed the first look of its upcoming capsule collection with The North Face. It’s been four years since the two brands joined forces, with their last collaboration being a Fall/Winter collection centered on cozy, function-driven silhouettes.
The latest collaboration sees an assortment of breezy and technical styles, designed with a focus on high-performance and trail running in mind. Combining HYKE’s signature minimalist design language with The North Face’s renowned materials, the lineup is doused in a palette of army green, gray, and black hues. Incorporated silhouettes range from bolero-style bests, waterproof outerwear, hats, long-sleeve tops, and pants, to name a few.
One of the main highlights of the lineup is the collaborative trail runners, which come in black and khaki green. Boasting mesh uppers, the shoes feature a streamlined and tonal silhouette, decorated with a flap-like panel with co-branded details. From the side, the shoes appear to arrive in a rocker-type style, complete with lugged soles that are suitable for mountainous trails.
Take a closer look at some of the styles in the gallery above. More information regarding the launch of the collection will be revealed in January 2024.
