Jonnie Irwin flooded with support as he shares update on 'fatigue'

Jonnie Irwin revealed he’s been busy with home renovation decisions, so much so that he’s getting ‘decision fatigue’.

The A Place In The Sun star, 49, wowed fans last month when he revealed he’s tackling a major renovation amid his devastating terminal cancer diagnosis.

Sharing a new update, the doting dad-of-three filmed himself outside his home this week in a video captioned: ‘Decisions decisions…#renovation.’

Many of his 214,000 followers were quick to shower the TV star with support and told Jonnie they thought his renovation project looked awesome.

He said in his new video: ‘Quick update on the project. That poor loo is sticking.’

Jonnie went on: ‘The portico is massive, really taking shape. The cladding is also on – I’m loving that big open window.

‘It will make all the difference to the design.

‘You’ve noticed the cladding, we wanted cladding but I didn’t wanna pretend it wasn’t a 1960s building, but if you take a step back, that there is a window.’

He then quipped: ‘The builders are going to love me, but I think it needs to be full height or it looks a bit half-arsed.

‘So that’s a conversation I’m gonna have to have, they seem quite open to it at the moment.’

The presenter also shared: ‘This is going to be all solid wood but it’s gonna have a doorway in it. I’m quite pleased with that design.

‘I’m getting decision fatigue at the moment but it’s exciting now, things are going up instead of getting ripped off, it’s all very positive .’

Fans were quick to rave about the building progress, with one person writing: ‘The house is beautiful you should be proud!’

Someone else echoed: ‘It’s all coming on a treat Jonnie.’

Other kind messages included: ‘Making good progress’ and ‘Looks fantastic.’

Elsewhere, Jonnie has been in full dad mode to his three children since sharing his cancer diagnosis last November.

Jonnie revealed his lung cancer spread to his brain and became terminal but is determined to make plenty of memories with his young family.

The doting dad shares his three young boys with wife Jessica Holmes.
