Despite pushing INSANO to 2024, Kid Cudi has served up a multitude of new offerings in the meantime, spanning the multi-faceted “Boldly Be” collaboration with Star Trek, the revival of his intimate Cudder’s Clubhouse live performances, the announcement of his new brand WZRD CWBY, and the reveal of his forthcoming Moon Man comic book series. Cudi revisited his “ILL WHAT I BLEED” Soundcloud release from September (which he dropped alongside “MOST AINT DENNIS”) to give the bass-heavy track the visual treatment, as well as a global streaming release.
The high-energy visuals, directed by Jason Goldwatch and Cudi himself, see the rapper galivanting around urban South Korea, with his golden smile and groovy dance moves in tow. Donning a slew of clean outfits – including a vibrant Members of the Rage varsity jacket – Cudi is carefree. “No wonder why them suckers hatin’, just ’cause I’m me (Yeah, yeah),” he delivers directly to the camera’s fish-eye lens with a smile on his face. But Cudi’s making one thing clear: “ILL WHAT I BLEED” is not the second single lifted off INSANO. “This is not the 2nd single, just a lil taste from the album while u wait. Official 2nd single drops in a few weeks, and faces will f*ckin melt,” he shared in an Instagram caption last night.
“ILL WHAT I BLEED” is now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. Stay tuned for more INSANO updates as they surface.
Elsewhere in the music world, Bad Bunny’s nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana becomes the fourth all-Spanish album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
