London-based streetwear label Maharishi adds to its roster of Spring/Summer 2022 styles with its third drop. Similar to the previous SS22 drops, the new release furthers the brand’s exploration of embroidery and military styles.
Specifically, Drop 3 features Sukujan-inspired embroideries like a Tibetan dragon. Using hand-machine embroidery, the Tibetan dragon appears on a range of pieces like olive-green military flight suits, merlot-colored hoodies, black relaxed-fit cargo pants and more. Beyond the dragon-embroidery, the collection is also outfitted with kimono shirts, ice blue nylon outerwear, button-down shirts, lightweight hemp sets, camo-printed pieces and t-shirts that all strengthen Maharishi’s pacifist military design ethos.
Drop 3’s pieces that nod to Vietnam-era military garments are updated with Japanese Hanten closures, kimono silhouettes and flight nylon fabric. Elsewhere in the collection are accessories like caps, beanies, backpacks, ripstop sling bags and scarves.
