Hardy Blechman’s Maharishi has just presented a brand-new collection for Fall/Winter 2023 and it takes its latest campaign to the streets of New York City.
Titled “The Art of the Invisible Warrior,” Maharishi’s new collection — which is shot and modeled by Maharishi’s store team in and around the Lispenard store location and Tribeca area — looks to influence the narrative of Maharishi’s Fall/Winter season through the introduction of new and old styles that are hit with a slew of technically-inclined details.
For example, the capsule welcomes the reintroduction of the Original Snoskirt, Japanese Ukiyo-e period, and woodblock-inspired artworks that are intricately applied to new curpo and Tibetan shirting and Shinobi-inspired sweaters, with the lot complemented by Snobutton systems.
Additionally, the Maharishi Original Snoskirt — which is re-issued for the first time since 1999 — is a cargo midi-skirt silhouette constructed from a combination of organic cotton and recycled polyester. The mixture of fabrications creates a lightweight yet high-tensile strength fabric that is also designed to dry quickly and efficiently.
The use of Maharishi’s patented Snocord system throughout various garments in the collection also allows wearers to adjust waist and lengths and is available in a melange of seasonal colors.
You can take a closer look at the new collection from Maharishi above and it is available to shop via the official Maharishi website and at the brand’s flagship stores in New York and London.
