Colombian star Maluma will be putting out his sixth solo album later this month. Don Juan is slated to drop on August 25, the follow-up to 2020’s Papi Juancho and 2021’s 7DJ EP.
The Latin music singer and rapper has come a long way since Magia, Maluma’s debut album, released in 2012 when he was just seventeen years old. Over the past decade, he’s found not only commercial success but has continuously evolved his sound, drawing inspiration from genres across urban pop, reggaeton, mambo and more.
Don Juan will contain recent Maluma singles that have already been released. There’s his Marc Anthony collaboration, “La Fórmula,” along with the Anuel AA-featuring “Diablo, Que Chimba.” It’ll also include his solo cuts, “La Reina” and the hit “Coco Loco.”
Less than a week after dropping Don Juan, Maluma will embark on a headlining US tour. Spanning 30 stops, the tour will kick off on August 31 in Sacramento, California, and run until November 4, when it wraps up in Miami, Florida. The artist will be performing Don Juan, as well as a few fan favorites.
Maluma’s sixth album Don Juan is out for streaming on August 25.
