Millie Mackintosh is due to give birth any day now, but until then she’s been making the most of being stuck at home when the sun is shining.
While the UK has been turning up the heat in the last few days, Millie has been passing the time, donning her bikini and topping up her tan in the garden.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 30, is expecting her first child with husband Hugo Taylor and doesn’t have long to go until their baby, a little girl, makes her arrival.
But, until then, Millie will be working on that golden glow of hers, bump and all.
Taking to Instagram, the mum-to-be was seen smiling away as she chilled out in her frilly pink swimwear and shades while sat outside on her patio.
Millie gave fans a good look at huge baby bump, as she sweetly rubbed her stomach.
Her bump update came as Millie shared her concerns about giving birth during the coronavirus pandemic, revealing that ‘stricter measures’ have now been put in place when it comes to expectant mums going into labour and who they can have in the hospital with them.
While Millie confessed that she is finding the current situation a ‘little scary’, she said that she is trying to stay ‘calm and positive’ in the lead up to her labour.
She wrote: ‘As stricter measures are put in place regarding birthing partners and birth plans, it’s becoming an increasingly uncertain time for anyone pregnant and my thoughts are going out to all my fellow expectant mothers.
‘I’ve made the conscious decision to stay calm and positive as things are changing daily and I can’t predict what the rules will be in a few weeks when I’m due to give birth. I know that everyone working in healthcare is doing the absolute best they can given the circumstances and it’s vital to protect the NHS.’
Millie continued: ‘I’m taking things hour by hour and keep reminding myself that although things are a little scary, there are people all over the world currently separated from loved ones, so I am very grateful to have my little haven at home with Hugo in the lead up to the birth, knowing that we will be rewarded with a little bundle of joy that will make us feel more love than we’ve ever known before.
‘I remind myself of this daily when times feel a little hard. Sending you all lots of love at this time #wewillmeetagain #inthistogether #pregnantduringpandemic.’
The reality star turned fashion designer was forced to cancel her baby shower recently to adhere to the Covid-19 lockdown measures and social distancing restrictions that have been put in place.
Millie said she was ‘gutted’ to have to cancel, but made sure to still mark the day with Hugo at home.
She told fans: ‘[I] feel very lucky to have such a loving husband here with me to make this day special in whatever way we can.’
